This class will discuss:

- The basic structure of spoked wheels

- Wheel dishing
- Measuring spoke tension
- Replacing broken spokes

Sunday Food Ride

  • The Bicycle Tree

These rides are simply about getting out for good food and good company while keeping it casual and relaxed. We go about 15 miles round trip. We meet up at the parking lot/patio behind the shop at 9:00 am and roll out at 9:30. We're usually back by noon.

Bring your money, lock, spare tube, and water. No one gets left behind.

Riders under 18 must wear a helmet and have a permission form signed by their parent or guardian. Write to info@thebicycletree.org and we'll send you the form!

To suggest destinations and routes, please contact us at info@thebicycletree.org. Interested in leading a ride? Ride leaders should complete our Basic Bike Safety class or a LAB-certified Traffic Safety 101 course, and also first join us for a couple rides.
