Donations of Bikes and Parts

We depend upon the donation of bikes and parts to do the work that we do. We take all bikes and parts, which may be brought to the shop during our public hours or by appointment.

What do we use your donations for?

•   Wrench and Ride: An eight-week program that teaches participants (primarily at-risk youth) bicycle maintenance and safety skills. Each student selects and repairs a bicycle from top to bottom. We go on a short ride together, and then they take their bikes home, along with a helmet, lock, and lights.

•   Donations to worthy causes: we refurbish donated bicycles and work with area shelters and assistance programs to give the bikes to low-income individuals along with a helmet, lock, and lights. Examples of places we've donated bikes to recently include Mercy House and WISEPlace.

•   Supporting bicycle education: We sell refurbished bikes and parts to help fund our maintenance workshops, classes, and the other work that we do.
